Česky krok za krokem 2 – Workbook Lessons 11–20

The second part of Zdena Malá's workbook contains additional exercises to lessons 11-20 of the textbook Czech Step by Step 2 (Lída Holá, Pavla Bořilová). Each lesson offers a number of activities to practise the communication skills, vocabulary and grammar discussed, accompanied by two-colour photographs and illustrations. The structure of the book is similar to the first volume. For orientation, markers next to the exercises indicate the relevant page and exercise in the textbook. The plus sign indicates the more challenging exercises, which go beyond the B1 level and are intended for alternative use for motivated students or for students with a native Slavic language. At the end of each lesson there is again a page devoted to spelling, in this volume mainly writing i and y. Most of the exercises have solutions in the key at the end of the book. The exercise book is therefore suitable for both class work and self-study. The publication also offers a number of texts with exercises to prepare students for the reading comprehension section of the B1 level Certified Czech Exam or the Citizenship Exam.
