Česky krok za krokem 2

Česky krok za krokem 2 is a continuation of the first volume, Česky krok za krokem 1. It is designed for students who want to achieve level B1. It contains 20 lessons in all. The first 10 lessons present a review of the material covered in the first volume, and in the next lessons new grammar is added to the material and students' communicative skills are broadened. The introductory texts focus on interesting topics in all areas of human activity and the final part of each lesson, Čeština pro každý den (Every day Czech), describes life in the Czech Republic. Numerous text and exercises, anchored in the themes of the lessons, provide a foundation for vocabulary development. Personalization of the themes is another important component. Pronunciation practice and language mastery through collocation are also emphasized. The textbook contains a wealth of photographs and illustrations. The publication's extensive vocabulary, quantity of texts and detailed explanations will satisfy the most demanding students of Czech as a foreign language. The entire book, including grammar explanations, is written in Czech. The set is comprised of the textbook and grammatical and lexical Appendices, and it is also supplemented with the two-volume Pracovní sešit 1 and 2, sold separately.
